Guardian offers both products and systems (our fastening systems have been specially developed for the mechanical fastening of insulation and synthetic and bituminous seals on flat roofs) as well as service and advice. We can tell you which products are best used in various systems, or offer you a total solution with our large database of information on the pull-out values of our fasteners in total roof systems.

Quality, service and flexibility are important core values for Guardian. The entire Guardian product range is monitored constantly for quality. These extensive testing programmes have resulted in European certifications (ETA and Sintef) and FM Approvals.
Wind box tests (in accordance with EN 16002:2010) and wind load calculations (in accordance with EN 1991-4) are available for many roof and fastening systems. History
Guardian BV was established in 2001 as Afast BV. Afast was taken over by CRH in 2003. 8 years later, in January 2011, Afast Holding BV was established as part of the SFS Intec Group, whose head office is in Heerbrugg, Switzerland.
In 2015 it was decided to integrate the Guardian brand name increasingly into the general communication.
From September 2018 the company name became Guardian BV. Guardian’s offices, production and storage are located at Grasbeemd 14 in Helmond.

Guardian has been a member of the RoofUpdate Foundation since 2017. This foundation is a collection of several innovative companies joining together in the realisation of eco roofs and facades.
